Flexographic Printing

Flexographic printing is the modern version of letterpress printing and is commonly used for printing on many different surfaces.

Flexography (Flexo) is a surface printing method that utilizes flexible rubber photopolymer plates wrapped around rotating metal cylinders. The plates have a slightly raised image of the content on them and are rotated at high speeds to transfer the image onto the print media.

Flexo printing uses quick-drying liquid inks that transfer images onto the surface of the photo photopolymer plates and apply it to a variety of printing mediums from Paper, Plastics and Foils.

Flexography is a popular choice for its high press speeds, suitability for long runs, and ability to print on a huge range of media including plastic, cellophane and metallic film for items such as Labels, Shrink Sleeve Wraps, Stand Up Pouches, Foil Snack Pack Sachets and Lidding Film.
